Welcome to a better kind of health care – without all the waiting, the red tape and the double-talk. At Vibrance Family Health + Care, we don’t have any of that – just the high-quality health care you deserve, delivered in a way that works for you at a price you can afford. Through our Direct Primary Care (DPC) approach, we give you all the access you need – through office visits, text, email and telehealth – for one low monthly fee. We take the time to get to know you and partner with you so you can live your healthiest life.
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership model of healthcare and is a direct relationship between you and your healthcare provider. DPC is not insurance. We do not bill your insurance and there are no copays. This allows for transparent pricing, and costs are all shared and communicated clearly. While, DPC is not an insurance plan, individuals are encouraged to maintain health insurance for catastrophic needs but it is not required.
History of DPC
Direct Primary Care is an innovative care model and is still relatively new. It was first established in West Virginia in 2006 through a pilot program. In 2007, Washington became the second state signing a law recognizing the DPC care model. We are thankful for the great leaders and visionaries in Nebraska who in 2016, made Nebraska the 16th state adopting legislation recognizing DPC1. Today, over half of the states in the US have law recognizing the DPC model, and there are over 1200 DPC clinics.
