About Vibrance Family Health + Care
Vibrance Family Health + Care was founded in 2020 by Katie Peters, a registered nurse since 1999 and a family nurse practitioner since 2003. Katie has served her central Nebraska neighbors in cardiology, rheumatology, internal medicine, urgent care, and family practice
settings.
At Vibrance, we get to know you and your health goals and then work together to achieve them. You can text, email or call your provider, see her in the office or through virtual visits — whatever works best for you. And you won’t wait weeks for an appointment. We’ll see you the same day or next.
With our Direct Primary Care approach, you pay a monthly fee — as little as a cellphone bill — with no hidden costs. No co-pays. No deductibles. And your insurance is never billed. It really is that simple, and it really works.
What Is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is all about connecting you to the health care you need and building a relationship between you and your provider. You can see your provider as much as you want through office visits or telehealth. You can text or email your provider. Routine annual lab work is also included — all for a low monthly membership fee.
Because we don’t bill your insurance, there are no co-pays and no red tape. That means transparent pricing and more time for what’s really important — taking care of you! DPC is not an insurance plan, so we encourage you to maintain health insurance for catastrophic needs.
History of DPC
The innovative Direct Primary Care (DPC) model began in 2006 with a pilot program in West Virginia. Washington became the second state to jump on board with a law recognizing DPC in 2007, and Nebraska adopted legislation in 2016, making it the 16th DPC state. Today, over half the U.S. states have DPC laws on the books with more than 1,200 clinics in operation.
